I had such a great time with Ksenia and Mitya! They found me through my commercial site / music work via some random European design blog and considered me for Mitya’s music project. Being Russian natives as well as myself, they were pleasantly surprised that I was local and got in touch. The wedding date settled in and they asked me to capture their special day, which turned out to be very intimate and beautiful. But first we spent some time in south Philly visiting the finest spots…

I had a great time last saturday where Phil made a flawless proposal. After taking a carriage ride to the Art Museum, they walked down to the gazebo by Water Works restaurant. Phil’s friend, disguised as a flower peddler planted the engagement ring among the roses. As soon as Sam took the rose, Phil knelt down…

I was looking forward to photographing Rachel and Alex at Cairnwood as I’ve heard so many things about it. Our day started at the Vanity salon in Philly where the girls got their hair and makeup done, followed by a trolley trip to the estates. Outside the property surrounded by castles and it feels like a fairy tale. The space inside is very well balanced and well thought out with many options for photography. I thoroughly enjoyed using film with my Mamiya RZ67 along with my digital cameras! We had a gorgeous day, a beautiful wedding and yes, the love birds sealed the deal …

We had a bumpy, but fun ride to Cairnwood.
Dad’s cuff links were jumping off the sleeve!

Rachel was glowing…
… and bridesmaids were recollecting memories and full of emotions.

It was such a pleasure working with such a charismatic couple. We had absolutely perfect weather while shooting at the central park. The wedding took place at the Lighthouse at Pier Sixty. Everyone was amazing as you can see in the photos …

Bring it on!

It was one of the sunniest days in last couple weeks.
Can’t forget the important details.

2010 came quickly and I’m getting really busy already. Over the weekend I met up with Ashley and Chris for a light engagement session around Art Museum. It gotten a bit warmer in the last couple of days, so we could do a few “spring” shots. It was really easy to photograph them as they naturally showed such love and affection for each other.
