2010 came quickly and I’m getting really busy already. Over the weekend I met up with Ashley and Chris for a light engagement session around Art Museum. It gotten a bit warmer in the last couple of days, so we could do a few “spring” shots. It was really easy to photograph them as they naturally showed such love and affection for each other.

Well, here is the end of the year and it was an amazing one. I’m wrapping it up with a last post of the year, a wedding I photographed in September with Steve Simon (a really talented photographer from NY) and his beautiful wife Tanja. We spent a great day in sandy South Jersey photographing a really nice couple, Keith and Sue from California. I absolutely love when people travel far to celebrate their wedding so close to their roots. Family and friends reunite after many years and have an amazing time. Ceremony took place in St Paul’s Roman Catholic church in Stone Harbor, NJ followed by a great night at Stone Harbor Women’s Civic Club catered by Nobil Food Services. Everyone was so happy to be there to enjoy fresh air by the ocean, lots of dancing led by The Renaissance Orchestra and long walks on the beach. See for yourself …

Last week I’ve covered a launch party of Jade’s Events. Jade is most friendly and forward thinking entrepreneur who has got an experience in organizing major parties on TV networks of the west coast and even some of the high profile government events. This time she is making a splash in Philly. The gathering took place at Table 31, an All-American restaurant part of new Comcast Center building and brought a tight group of friends, family, clients and prospects as you can see for yourself …

Theresa and Shaun must be the sweetest couple I’ve photographed in recent time. This was one of the last nice days for the year and we had a really wonderful time in Doylestown area. We scouted out the city, visited local Septa station, went to a playground by a creepy bog and ended up in Peace Valley park on a really calm lake. Also meet Cody, a super cute but very protective puppy who loves healthy treats. He had his 10 minutes of fame before going back to the car =).

A few weeks ago I’ve covered an engagement proposal of a couple from Philadelphia. It was happening on Dr. Phil after Steven Singer jewelers sponsored it with their beautiful ring. It was the first time that Dr. Phil show was live and being behind the scenes really showed me what it takes to produce a show of such proportions! Here are some pictures that I liked …

Despite the anticipation of a full day rain we had an amazing sunny day and everyone was very happy to celebrate Kathleen & Dave’s wedding at Manufacturers Golf & Country Club. It was a lot of fun riding carts around this beautiful golf course. The whole event was a delicate balance of playful and elegant. Watching Kathleen & Dave do the Thriller on the dance floor was the highlight of my night.

Libby and Alex love to run! Every day they chase miles and the day when Alex proposed to Libby was no exception. At the end of their regular track when everything was perfect he popped the question. While priest didn’t seem to find this very romantic, I think this is totally romantic, refreshing and original. You can see how happy they are together, just look at Libby’s glowing smile. Of course keeping the tradition of running, we made some quality time on foot, spending the most important day of their life in the heart of Philadelphia.

I got myself new friends! Eve and Vlad were very outgoing and fun. We had a great time exploring all the nooks and crannies of the city. Three of us have at least a few things in common. One is being that we can speak a mix of Russian-English in a single conversation. That is a skill I picked up when I lived in North East Philly. That’s exactly what happens when Russian-Americans would get together. Two is that we have some roots in Moldova and it’s pretty special. And three is that we all ended up here, all relatively close to each other. I’m really looking forward to meet the rest of their friends at the wedding in a month.

Rachel and Alex were so adorable together as I spent half of the day with them. We went to some of the better spots of Philly, such as South St., Art Museum area and some other neat local places we found on the way. Philadelphia finally got a taste of a nice comfortable weather. It was truly a perfect day to do the shoot. These two lovebirds are deeply in love and I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding next year.
